News and/or Rants!

Wow, another Friday come and gone.  Our weekend is over before everyone else’s starts.  Interesting huh?  So… how has everyone been?  It is very very cold, but for Colorado, this is normal for October.  All the leaves are their alternate colors and the word of snow is spreading.  Will is snow on Halloween this year like it has done so often in the past?

            For this fall, I am GM for a game of BESM with my little brother and Jake.  It will be a lot of fun.  My brother Kacey is fun to play these kind of games with because he is so imaginative and he doesn’t mind making an ass of himself.  My brother has a puppy too, although I am thankful he is not coming over.  His name is Doodles and he is about a month older than Naota.  He is what they call a PikaPom, which is a Pekingese Pomeranian mix.  I have hardly seen a happier puppy than Doodles, but oh my gosh he is a handful.

            So we took Naota to his first training class last Tuesday.  He did really well.  The greatest thing is there is another Corgi there by the name of Kerrick.  I seriously think Naota was trying to show him up.  During most of the session, Kerrick was gnawing on his owner and the instructor.  Naota was as calm and good mannered as he had ever been, and he was learning very fast.  I was really excited to see him be so good!  The two corgis got along great.  They were wrestling and stuff all the time and getting along.  They were described as two Celtic warriors in the heat of battle.

            Anyway, about the comic today.  We’ve had a lot of people comment on how oddly proportioned I am in the comic.  In truth, it is only how Jake perceives me.  Lady’s don’t be jealous, please.  I’m not like that!  J  So, I think that’s about it.  Hope the weekend is good for everyone.  Feel sorry for Jake and I because we don’t get to enjoy it with everyone else!
